Welcome to the website of the missions work we do.
We are currently in Sierra Leone working in the area of Mokanji. Here we are drilling fresh water wells, forming relationships with the people here and working with medical outreach teams as they come through the area. When the rainy season hits and we can no longer drill wells effectively we spend more time and energy in getting the Mokanji Hospital into a condition where it can once more provide health care to this area.
From 2004 through to 2009 we lived and worked in Guatemala. We lived on the campus of Christian Academy of Guatemala in Guatemala City, Guatemala. This is a school that serves the children of missionaries serving in Guatemala in areas as varied as health care and orphanages all the way to seminary professors at the local seminary. Charles worked at the school as the Director of Maintenance and Construction as well as shop teacher. Petra worked in the rural villages using her training as a pharmacy technologist in the clinics, teaching ladies at a community center in the same area and as translator and assistant for both surgical and primary health care teams that came to Guatemala.
