Arnoldo’s son seems to weaken due to his blood disorder (Purpura). However, we were able to get him in touch with a missionary doctor and her husband. These dear friends will try to help Arnoldo find the medication (Medrol or Medrone (methylprednisolone 4 mg), which his son requires in order to control the disorder. Not all medications are easily found in Guatemala when you need it.
Meanwhile, we are still praying for contributions toward a car for Arnoldo, so he can once again provide for his family. These donations can be in funds or, if you are able to, even in a vehicle itself.
In order to donate to this project, Global Outreach Mission has set up a separate sub-account. Contact us for further information, on how to bless Arnoldo and his family.
A quick update on Arnoldo's car. We have about $4500 available at this point. However, due to the gas prices here in the states and Canada, small cars that would be suitable for Arnoldo are not as plentiful as previously thought and consequently prices are also higher.
Thanks
We have purchased a "new" vehicle for Arnoldo today. A 1991 Nissan Sentra 4 door sedan which is a VERY popular taxi in Central America. This is a basic model which is probably the best for the use that is planned for it.
