“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.  We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:1, 14)

Why did God send his one and only Son to make His dwelling among us?

God wanted a relationship with us.  What better way to build a relationship with us and reach out to us, then to live among us, among human kind?

By following God’s example of living among and daily interacting with those around us, we too have opportunity of building a relationship with people, showing God’s Love to them, and thus impacting our World with God’s love for God’s glory.

While Charles is as busy as ever with maintenance at the school as well as with teaching skills acquired in woodshop and auto shop to the students, he has opportunities to develop friendship with various Guatemalan workers as well.

The Lord has given Petra different ways through which to reach out.  By assisting in a local Guatemalan clinic as well as volunteering at a school for special needs children, she builds relationship with the people in her sphere of influence.

Merry Christmas and a Christ centered New Year, filled with opportunities to reach out to one another, sharing Christ’s love through relationships with each others, building God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven by impacting our world with God’s love and for his glory!
