Psalms 92:1 - It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High.

This month it is time to wish everyone in the USA a “Happy Thanksgiving” and join together with our friends in thanking God for the harvest of blessings.

Listen to what God has done this past month, how He has allowed each of our family to participate in His grand and overall plan, and how you as well are part of His work  here in Guatemala.

A missionary wife, whose husband is currently in the States, had electrical problems in her home.  She contacted her husband via e-mail and he advised her to ask Charles for assistance.  Besides assisting her with the electrical wiring of the hot water shower head (also known as "Widow Maker"),  Charles was also able to help her with her car problems.

This past week, while Charles and Petra attended a missions conference outside the country, James and Jonathan were part of a spiritual emphasis week as well as a spiritual high school retreat.

At the beginning of the month, Petra translated for a medical team from the States on weeklong service trip of medical and dental mobile clinics.  It was amazing to see how God brought different people together to draw people unto himself.

The medical team from the States consisted of about 35 individuals - doctors, nurses, dentists.  Health Care Promoters and other medical personal from Guatemala participated as well.

Each day we divided at least into two medical/dental teams, to serve at two different locations.  The “mobile clinics” were held at local churches and the ladies of the congregations prepared lunch.

When the doctors interviewed or questioned the patients, Petra translated from English to Spanish and another person translated from Spanish to the local indigenous language.

Now, after the medical team has left, the local church can continue their spiritual ministry and medical follow-up.

God is also allowing you, dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, to participate in His grand and overall plan. Thank you for your encouragement, prayers and generous financial gifts.
