Praise the Lord for Rain! (End of May , 2007)

Finally! Even in the Guatemalan highlands we received rain this afternoon. Usually the wet season begins a month earlier. Pray that this marks the beginning of the rainy season.

While the coastal areas had flooding already, we had not seen any rain until now. After preparing their fields and sowing their seeds, the farmers in and around Yalu, have longed for the rain to water their crops.

Due to the dust which is everywhere, there are a lot of respiratory problems amongst the people.

Yes, we are filled with thanks and praise for the rains!
